A leisurely 20 mins stroll from Toyama Station lead us to this beautiful park. We ascended to top of tower (Tenmon-kyo Bridge Tower) to have a panoramic view of the area. Nice place for exercise and leisurely stroll for an hour or two. Beside the canal there's a Starbucks Cafe (Named the most beautiful Starbucks in the world). Great place to chill out and watch sunset.....
It's simply amazing and stunning at what people can do with glass. It's designed by Japanese architect (Kengo/Kuma). As you enter the building, you'll be mesmerised by the architectural design, ambience and spaciousness of the building. It also serves as the Central Library for Toyama City. The gifts shop souvenirs are nice but expensive...Admission is free. For the more precious exhibits a small fee is levied.....
Yatsuo is a town famous for "OWARA" dancing festival, which is being held on 1-3 September every year. Except for these 3 days, this town is very quiet, not like a busy sightseeing spot. However, if you'd wander maybe half a day, you can visit museum where you can see the dancers, and some floats which are used in another festival in May, walk along the old street, etc., to feel the quietness of the town.
