Most visitors come here with children. But if you love Doraemon, you can certainly enjoy this place.You can reach this place by riding a Doraemon-decorated shuttle bus from Noborito station. The bus costs JPY 220 one way. The ticket to the museum must be purchased in advance at Lawson. They don't sell the tickets on site.
The place is not huge. The museum exhibits the original work of Fujiko F Fujio. But they are all in Japanese. The movie in the theatre has English subs, though. They have an outdoor area with a few statues to take pictures with. Overall, not a must-visit place but quite a good one.
I had a few hours to kill before heading to the airport so I hopped on a train and headed to Kawasaki to visit the Daishi Heiken Temple. This temple complex is big and well worth at least an hour of your time. I enjoyed the street and shops leading up to the temple. After browsing a few shops, I entered the temple complex and viewed the pagoda. It wasn't busy during the week. Overall, beautiful temple, easy to get to, and worth a quick stop.
If u love shopping don miss this place! it's at Kawasaki station. Lots to shop, eat & see. It's always crowded at ground floor area but as u shop, lesser crowd as huge mall very spacious & relax to walk around. If u are first timer, could easily spend half a day shop & dine. Glad to come on Sat, happen that there's performance at open area, very vibrant place with energy! Glad to see some leaves turning colours for autumn ...If u wish to explore outside Tokyo city area but too far, this is definitely one of the place!
Very happy to discover such a nice place for a walk/jog. The park is very big and there is a museum, cafe/restaurant, old houses. Loved by local people to enjoy the nature in the busy city.
